Owner, Lead DentistDr. Monica C. Wandro is known for delivering compassionate, trustworthy, and joyful dentistry tailored to patients of all ages. After experiencing her own crowded teeth and braces as a child in Des Moines, Iowa, she was inspired to combine her love of science and art with the ability to serve others. Dr. Wandro graduated with a biology degree from Iowa State University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She is a dedicated member of the Oklahoma Dental Association Leadership Academy and serves as Triage Co-Lead at the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy, providing free dental care to underserved communities. With advanced training in dental implants from the Colorado Surgical Institute and in Invisalign, Dr. Wandro excels in building genuine relationships with her patients, helping even the most anxious feel at ease—sometimes so much so that they fall asleep during treatment! Her warm, transparent, and attentive approach makes every visit unique and memorable. Outside the office, Dr. Wandro enjoys running marathons, hiking with her husband Nick (with the goal of visiting every U.S. National Park), kayaking at Lake Thunderbird, and spending time with family in Iowa. At Wandro Dental, she is proud to lead a team focused on positive patient experiences built on trust, skill, and a little laughter.
