    Dr. Sara K. Spurlock grew up as the youngest of eight in a large, close-knit family, where she learned compassion, hard work, and love for serving others. Inspired by her family’s background in dentistry and the influence of her childhood dentist, Dr. Spurlock pursued a B.S. in Zoology and went on to the OU Health Science Center for dental school. She began practicing dentistry in 2004. Dr. Spurlock cherishes her multi-faceted career—blending the roles of artist, educator, engineer, counselor, and healthcare provider. Immediately after graduation, she joined Dr. Susan Whiteneck’s practice, which laid the foundation for Dental Design Studio and her enduring partnership with Dr. Jennifer Jenkins. Dr. Spurlock is passionate about lifelong learning, especially in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, airway function, and integrative oral medicine, regularly attending advanced continuing education to better serve her patients. She is devoted to her family—spending her downtime with her husband Jay, their three children, and two dogs, and staying active in their church and community. Leading a life of service, Dr. Spurlock participates in free dental clinics and supports local schools and nonprofits. She is committed to fostering a nurturing, non-judgmental practice culture, where compassion and excellence go hand in hand. Dr. Spurlock is deeply thankful for the trust of her patients and the opportunity to create healthy, beautiful smiles in a place that feels like family.

    Dr. Jennifer Jenkins discovered her passion for dentistry as a third-grader in Edmond, Oklahoma, after a memorable orthodontic visit. She holds dual degrees in Psychology and Zoology from the University of Oklahoma and earned her DDS from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. After running her own successful practice in Oklahoma City, Dr. Jenkins joined forces with Dr. Sara Spurlock, her dental school best friend, to form a partnership rooted in shared values, compassion, and a commitment to state-of-the-art care. Deeply community-oriented, Dr. Jenkins actively volunteers with the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy and serves on the Children’s Hospital Foundation Board of Advisors. She thrives on ongoing education, attending seminars nationwide alongside Dr. Spurlock, and brings her patients the benefits of the latest dental advances. Outside the office, Dr. Jenkins loves spending time with her husband, sons, and extended family—including the Spurlocks—at OU sporting events, on bike rides, and enjoying Norman together. Driven by the belief that 'passion fuels purpose,' she constantly pursues excellence and lasting relationships in both her personal life and dental practice.

    Born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma, Dr. Lauren Parker always dreamed of a career in healthcare, first aspiring to be a 'baby back doctor' as a child. She graduated from Norman North High School, then the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Psychology before earning her DDS from the OU College of Dentistry. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency—with advanced training in oral surgery, dental implants, and complex restorative care—Dr. Parker returned to serve her hometown community at Dental Design Studio, where she was once a patient herself. She is passionate about lifelong learning, striving to stay on the cutting edge of dental research and innovation to provide the highest quality care. Dr. Parker’s approach features empathy, artistry, and meticulous attention to detail, focusing on building lifelong relationships with patients. Outside the office, she enjoys time with her husband Daniel, their puppy Millie, and their extended family; loves college football and Thunder basketball; and is devoted to her community, family, faith, and friendships. Dr. Parker is honored to be back in Norman, serving the community she calls home.
